Just thought I'd make a "sticky" thread to keep track of whose turn it is to pick a book and the order of picking:
For new members, it works like this: you're added to the bottom of the list. After we read the person's pick, that person is put to the bottom of the list.

So my buddy Justin (Len and Maur know him) wants to join. I will get him to sign up and he will join in for the next book (Hemmingway).
Thompson, I'm not sure how you ended up ahead of me in the picking order: You didn't read my last pick (Black like me) nor the one after it (In defense of food). I think I added you when you first said you were joining but before you actually started reading. Am I mistaken? Apologies for the confusion.

Allow me to introduce Justin, our newest member of the bookclub. I believe Len, Maur, and the phantom Jon Bradley know him already.
I'd like to welcome our 2nd newest member, Patrick a.k.a. scribbles. None of you know him: he was a fellow intern of mine in Ecuador, lives here in Montreal, and is from Calgary.
After delving into the depths of alcoholism with Patrick in Ecuador for six months, I can vouch that he'd be a welcome addition to the club.
I've added him ahead of Justin in the picking order, as Patrick read Screwtape Letters (however slowly!).
